How can Integrative Psychotherapy & Hypnotherapy help you?
When life looks manageable from the outside, but feels very different within…
You may be functioning at a high level in some areas of your life; you are capable and accustomed to managing the demands of life and responsibilities — yet you are finding that something internally has become increasingly difficult to manage.
Perhaps anxiety has begun to dominate your thinking. You may experience panic without fully understanding why, feel disconnected from yourself, or notice that experiences from the past continue to affect how you respond in the present.
Sometimes the difficulty is harder to define. You may function well professionally and personally, while privately experiencing persistent anxiety, emotional overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, low mood or a sense that you are simply not quite yourself.
Psychotherapy offers a confidential space in which we can begin to understand not only what you are experiencing, but why.
Together, we can explore the experiences, patterns and psychological processes underlying your symptoms, while developing greater capacity to respond to yourself and your life with understanding, flexibility and choice.
Our Sessions…
Working Together
I offer individual psychotherapy in person in Cobham, Esher and Epsom, as well as online sessions across the UK and internationally.
Sessions provide a confidential and collaborative space in which we can explore what you are experiencing and develop an approach shaped around your individual needs.
An Integrative Approach to Psychotherapy
No two people arrive in therapy with exactly the same history, psychological processes or needs. For that reason, I do not work from a single therapeutic protocol.
My approach is integrative and informed by psychotherapeutic theory, contemporary trauma understanding, hypnotherapy and experiential approaches to psychological change.
Together, we develop an understanding of what may be underlying the difficulties you are experiencing — including the influence of earlier experiences, relationships, unconscious processes, protective responses and established patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour.
The therapeutic work can then be shaped around you, rather than asking you to fit within a predetermined method.
Central to this process is the therapeutic relationship: creating sufficient safety for curiosity, understanding and meaningful psychological change to develop.
Areas of Expertise
Anxiety & Panic | Trauma | Dissociation & DPDR | Depression/Emotional Distress
“Psychological distress is rarely evidence that something is inherently wrong. Often, it reflects ways of adapting, protecting and surviving that once made sense.”
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and it is important that you feel comfortable with the person you choose to work with.
I offer an initial confidential consultation in which we can briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the process and whether working together feels appropriate.
There is no obligation to proceed.
