Integrative Psychotherapist & Hypno-Psychotherapist
Caroline Michael
I am a UKCP-accredited Integrative Psychotherapist and Hypno-Psychotherapist working with adults experiencing anxiety, panic, trauma, dissociation, depersonalisation and other forms of psychological and emotional distress.
My Approach is integrative, trauma-informed and highly individual. Rather than working from a single therapeutic model, I draw on psychotherapeutic theory, hypnotherapy and experiential approaches to develop an understanding of the person as a whole - their experiences, relationships, psychological patterns and the ways they have learned to adapt and protect themselves.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is one of the UK’s principal professional bodies for psychotherapy.
UKCP registration reflects extensive psychotherapeutic training and clinical practice and requires ongoing professional supervision, continuing professional development and adherence to established ethical and professional standards.
I have a BA Hons in Psychology and Media from Leeds University & an Advanced Diploma in Hypno-psychotherapy from The National College of Hypnosis & Psychotherapy.
My previous positive experience with hypno-psychotherapy in overcoming anxiety and intrusive thoughts in my mid-twenties, led me to the decision to re-train as a therapist. I am dedicated to helping people heal and overcome mental health issues that can affect many of us at some point or another in our lives. I studied at the renowned, UKCP-accredited college: The National College of Hypnosis & Psychotherapy.
I have 6 years of clinical experience running my private practice and have helped many people experience positive, sustained and lasting improvement in their mental health and wellbeing.
I believe passionately in the potential benefits and positive impact that Hypno-psychotherapy can have for people across the board; my ultimate goal being to help you to thrive…
